Cocos Lake

Fed by the Sagawitchewan River , Cocos Lake provides well over 12 miles of fishable waters. The east and north ends of this lake both have breath taking rapids, perfect for a memorable picture. The east set of rapids can be traversed by boat and opens up into a 25-mile river system to explore.Numerous and large weed beds located in the Sagawitchewan river yield many 40+ inch pike. Trophy walleye lurk in 20 ft of water below the first set of rapids into the Sagawitchewan River. Also of note, all the waters from the Opasquia Provincial park flow through this system.
