Pakakshan Lake

To access Pakashkan Lake, drive 83 miles on Highway 17, northwest of Thunder Bay past the town of Upsula to the Graham Road. Turn right and proceed north about 30 miles. One of the finest northern pike lakes in NW Ontario, the lake is also home to Walleye, Whitefish and Smallmouth Bass. Pakakshan Lake is large with numerous protected bays where the pike like to prowl. Pakakshan Lake is part of the Grew-Weaver Canoe Route.
