Marchington Lake

Yellow pickerel and northern pike are the most sought after fish in the lake. the northern pike fishing is usually undertaken with the use of artificial baits. Both live and artificial baits are used when fishing for pickerel. Common lures used include dare-devils and imitation minnows. Excellent walleye angling is to be had on the south-east end of the lake . good fishing also exists at the moth of Martin Creek flowing into the lake from clamshell lake. Incredible pike fishing can be found in the shallows surrounding many of the small islands on the lake. May and June have proven to be the best months to angle.
