Pickle Lake

Pickle Lake, "Ontario's Last Frontier", is located at the end of Highway 599. Pickle Lake is the most northerly community in Ontario that is accessible by road. Take Highway 599 north from Ignace. Along the way, you'll pass such lakes as Lake St. Joseph (famous for its walleye fishing) and Osnaburgh Lake.
