Dolphin Lake

At 71 miles north of Red Lake, Dolphin is a shallow 1500 acre lake with several bays ranging in depths of 5 to 15 feet. The lake is fed by several small creeks and the outlet flows westward through a series of rapids into Dolphin Creek. If lake trout is what you are seeking, portage into McInnes Lake where, or for even more exploring opportunities, there is a small unnamed lake to the south.
