		| Polar Star Lodge is located midway
between Wabigoon and Dinorwic Lakes and you can access 9 more lakes without a portage. The
"BOLP" (Butler, Olsen, Larson and Paulsen) lake chain is especially beautiful and the boat
ride through the winding creeks that connect them is literally a wilderness tour. You are
almost sure to see Bald Eagles, Loons, Great Blue Herons, Ducks and a view of a moose isn't
unlikely. Our uncrowded waters offer lots of tranquillity and the opportunity to fish
totally undisturbed by any other boats.
The Finch family have proudly owned Polar Star Lodge for over 40 years and the same
satisfied guests have come back season after season. Our guests are much more than a customer -
they are our friends and we look forward to the next visit. We're proud to have several groups
that are 4th generation visitors! Read about some of our returning
		guests.
With access to so many bodies of water, the fish species you'll find at Polar Star Lodge
are many and diverse. You'll find Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie, Smallmouth Bass and Perch are
right off the shores. Lake Trout are found in nearby lakes too!
