Lake Minnehaha

Fish species found in the waters include; pickerel, Northern pike, lake whitefish, lake herring, white sucker, spot-tail shiner, burbot(lawyer fish), rock bass, yellow perch. Walleye are the most sought after fish found in the lake, frequenting the east bay in the spring time. during summer months, they are more likely to be found in the northern most bay, or around the northern cluster of islands. Jig and minnow combos work best. Jackfish can be found in the weedy or stumpy areas of the lake through out the season, and trolling or casting various spoons seems to be the preferred method of catching the trophies.
