Zarn Lake

Located just 18 air miles southeast of Sioux Lookout, Zarn lake can only be accessed by float plane, train, or during the winter months, snowmobiles. Angling success has been reported to be more successful on the northern half of the lake. Lake trout provide constant action during both the summer and fall. Jigging off the rocky points and banks seems to work better than herring during the winter months, but both are surprisingly effective while trolling. Trolling is also effective for land quality northern pike and walleyes as well.
