Thunder Lake

Thunder Lake is located on Highway 17, approximately a 15 minute drive east of the City of Dryden. Sandy beaches and the clear, shallow waters of Thunder Lake near Dryden make an ideal family stop for swimming, boating and fishing. Find hours of boating pleasure on Thunder Lake where motorboats, sailboats and canoes offer different choices for fun on the water. The lake has two natural sand beaches, one of which can be found at Aaron Provincial Park. The fishing is excellent especially for lake trout during May and early June. Northern pike, smallmouth bass and walleye also inhabit the depths of Thunder Lake. For wilderness seekers, several excellent canoe routes can be accessed from the park.
