About the Northern Lights Resort

Our famous Northern Lights Resort sits by Cedar Lake. This resort is about 25 miles drive from Vermilion Bay, Ontario. All the modern cabins are equipped with air-conditioning. We offers three deluxe cabins on the beautiful waterfront, which all include dishwasher, satellite TV and large patios. The standard cabins are nice if you are new visitors, they have beautiful views of the cedar lake. All of our Northern Lights Resort guests have access to an air-conditioned lodge with satellite TV and Wi-Fi. Our facility also features a family oriented playground on the sandy beach for the kids. The fish-cleaning house is very close to the dock and have always been kept clean our guests at the Northern Lights Resort. The Northern Lights Resort also provide our guest with live minnows and ice at no cost.

The Northern Lights Resort CABINS

The Northern Lights Resort is consisted of seven cabins. Four of which are basic packages and three of these are “deluxe”. Northern Lights Resort cabins are spacious, completely renewed that they come fully equipped for our housekeeping packages. The Northern Lights Resort cabins all have complete kitchens, 3-piece bathrooms, microwaves, toasters, coffee makers, air conditioning, and gas grills on the decks. All bedding, including blankets, linens, and pillows are supplied at the Northern Lights Resort.

Fishing AT Northern Lights Resort

Northern Lights Resort is located on Cedar Lake, which is known for its fantastic Walleye, Northern, Muskie, Jumbo Perch, Whitefish, Small Mouth Bass, and Crappie. The lake is 23 miles long, shaped in a horseshoe. This spectacular body of water has no shortage of weed beds, reefs, rock cliffs, and drop-offs where you’ll find an abundance of fish! For those more adventurous, we offer access to portage lakes including Cliff Lake and Ord Lake.

Hunting at Northern Lights Resort

Northern Lights Resort offers a very large big game and small game hunting ground where hunters can enjoy our excellent big game hunting for Buck Moose, Black Bear, and Whitetail Deer. You are welcome to bring Rifle, muzzle loader, and crossbows. Northern Lights Resort also provides baited stands for rental. We also offer small game hunts for Grouse and Duck.
