Fishing at Eagle Lake Sportsmen’s Lodge

The Ontario Eagle Lake is famous for its Canadian trophy fishing as well as it’s scenic landscape. The lake has over 63,428 acres of water and more than 490 islands with many bays, channels, weed beds and drop-offs to explore during your Canadian fishing adventure. It’s nearly 75 miles long and has over 400 miles of shoreline. Fishing on Eagle Lake produces trophy fishing of all five major species throughout the season, they are Muskie, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and both Lake Trout and Whitefish.

Whitetale Deer, Black Bear and Moose Hunting

At Eagle Lake Sportsmen’s Lodge, you are able to experience amazing hunting just minutes away. Spend the day hunting then return to a hot cooked dinner in the comfort of your cabin. You don’t have to spend a week in the woods to fill your tag. Professionally guided trophy Whitetale Deer hunts with high success rates are available, along with choices of baited stands or self-guided hunts. We offer only a limited amount of hunts each season to make sure you get the best hunt available. For the experienced hunter looking for something a little different, we offer fully guided archery Bull Moose hunts and Grouse hunts.

We Also have a large Bear Management Area exclusive to our lodge and our success rate is very high. We allow a limited number of hunters each year with our 7 day Fall Bear Hunt package. We pre-bait two stands per hunter, two weeks prior to arrival. Once the hunter arrives we bring them to the stand and there after the hunter would bait the stand themselves. Join us for the fall hunting season, the scenery is beautiful and after you’ve filled your tag, enjoy the season’s best Muskie fishing.

  Just wanted to take a minute and say thanks again for making our week up at the lodge another great one! You guys run such a smooth operation….certainly set the customer service bar high for everyone else. You anticipated our every need and didn’t miss a beat. Most impressive was Jim pulling the mosquito coil out of his pocket as soon as Nick mentioned we were in need. Or Cindy remembering Nick’s dad’s name from many, many years ago. Or simply being available throughout the day to provide bait whenever we needed it. And of course the list goes on…the Wednesday dinner, the new and improved Cabin #1, WiFi, shufflepuck (at least that’s what we call it), etc. Can tell you guys put a lot of effort into making your customers’ weeks great!   Finally, and maybe most importantly, the fishing was spectacular. We had full bellies each night and our families will soon have full bellies as well! Many memories were had…stories that will once again be told for years to come!

• This coming November will be my 5th year in a row to travel 1600 miles one way from my home in New York State to Eagle Lake Sportsmen's Lodge. I travel there to hunt whitetail deer. There are certainly some huge bucks in this area and with some hard work and a little luck, you may have an opportunity to harvest a record class animal.
  
  Jim and Cindy have several cabins overlooking the beautiful Eagle Lake. I have stayed in 3 different cabins and each one has been spotlessly clean and comfortable. The cabins are equipped with everything you could possibly need.
  
  Jim and Cindy are always there for you also. They go out of their way to make sure that your stay is enjoyable and rewarding. Each year I look forward to going back there because they make you feel like part of the family.
