About

Welcome to our FISHING CAMP with plain old North Country hospitality. Please join us in a factual description of the pleasures offered at Fisherman’s Cove.  Tour through our website and see for yourself why people are saying, “Fisherman’s Cove is a Top-Rated fishing and vacationing spot!”

Fishing on Lac Seul
You will enjoy exceptional fishing all season long on Lac Seul, famous for its hundreds of miles of lakeshore and numerous bays. The lake contains an abundance of walleye and great northern pike. You will make fine catches from spots such as South Bay, McKenzie Bay, Manitoba Point, Williams Bay, Mcintyre and Scout Bay, where our camp is located.

Shore Lunch
Also, don’t forget to shore lunch, which many feel is the best part of fishing in the Great North!

Boats at Fisherman’s Cove
We have 17′ boats with padded pedestal seats, flat floors, and storage lockers. They are powered by 40 hp four stroke motors.

Other Fun at Fisherman’s Cove
In addition to fishing, many guests enjoy hiking, bird watching such as bald eagles, otter, mink, bears, moose, fox and wolves. Many people often enjoy berry picking, rock collecting and gathering of driftwood and wild flowers, or just relaxing with the splendors of nature. We feel that there is more to fishing than merely catching fish. The clean, unpolluted air and water, beautiful creatures of mother nature in their natural surroundings all combine to make memories which are not soon forgotten.

Our deck overlooking the lake is the location for Wednesday night barbecue along with the social opportunity to share with one another…”the whole camp will be there”.

Maps/Directions

Fisherman’s Cove American Plan and Housekeeping facility is on a blacktop highway and our access lane to camp is only one quarter mile, and is in very good condition. You may still, however fly into the Ear Falls Airport with its 4,000 foot runway, if you feel this will expedite your trip.
