Huber’s Lodge is located 17 miles east of Dryden, Ontario, directly on the channel of Dinorwic – and Wabigoon Lake. With over 60,000 acres and more then 300 islands on the lakes are just a paradise for fishermen, hunters and Eco – Tourism. Entering Canada through International Falls, take Hwy 11 east for about 20 miles. Upon reaching Hwy. 502, head directly north to Dryden for 100 miles. Take Hwy 17 east for 17 miles and you will see a sign Bear Paw – Lone Pine Rd., which leads you directly to Huber’s Lodge.

All our guests are housed in one of our private deluxe cottages. All cottages are equipped with Air-conditioner, Satellite TV, Microwaves and all modern conveniences a 5 STAR Lodge has to offer. Our 17 deluxe cottages can accommodate from two to ten people. They are fully furnished with kitchens, full bathrooms, dining-living room and two or more bedrooms (2 bath-rooms in all three or 4 bedroom cottages). Gas BBQs, and high speed Internet service are standard in all cottages and through out the lodge.

Northwest Ontario is world-famous for the consistently good supply of Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie, Smallmouth Bass and Lake Trout. Among which, walleye is the tastiest of all fresh water fish while other fish species are fun to catch. Our beautiful, clean lakes offer up good fishing spring, summer, and fall. You will catch your limit most days, but even when the fishing slows down, the beauty of our Canadian wilderness is an unforgettable experience in itself. And of course we have available complete fish cleaning and freezer services.

Hunting at Huber’s Lone Pine Lodge

We offer one of the best black bear hunting packages in the Dryden, Ontario, Canada. You can hunt over 320 sq-km of prime black bear country with over 50 baited tree stands. These areas are accessible by road, water or ATV. We had maintained a high success rate of over 80% for last 6 years. And in order to keep that rate, we book a maximum of 10 hunters per week, either bow or rifle hunters. Baiting tree stands start at least 2 weeks before the you arrive, and re-baiting is done when necessary to maintain active stands. You will also have the best and most experienced guides to make sure you have the a great success rate.

If you are into small game hunting, such as ducks, Grouse, and Geese hunting: There are many local birds, mostly mallards and wood ducks, early in the season. As the weather gets colder, the northern mallards, geese and blue bills arrive in large flocks. Many pot hole lakes and large wild rice fields make the hunt very exciting. Grouse can be found along the many logging roads in the area. Please bring your own decoys.
