Now that we're all settled back home in Madison, I wanted to write and tell you how much we enjoyed the lodge. The accommodations were great and the two of you were wonderful hosts. When I show people the pictures, they can't believe just how picture perfect the cabins and grounds look. We'll never forget the ride through the culvert... what an unusual experience! thanks for taking us your wing a bit and pointing us in the right direction for the walleye. Glen you could probably catch fish in a puddle on Main Street! Tom is still talking about the great rhubarb pie, so I guess we'll have to come back again so he can have some more. I referred the lodge to a friend from work so she'll be checking into everything too. Take care and enjoy the rest of the season.

Just a quick note to thank you for the fine week we spent at your resort. You have a first class resort! Even though the cold front put the walleyes to sleep, we had a great time. Shirley, the steak meal was great. Glen, thanks for taking us to three different trips to the two lakes. It was much appreciated. You two are fine people.

We made it home .... finally after nine hours. We just want to thank you again for a fantastic time and lots of laughs! As Jane told our daughter, you two are our new best friends! Seriously, we had a great time. You run a great lodge, but it's the personal touch that makes all the difference. We'll try to send you some Rice Lake business.

We had a great time fishing last week. The guys commented numerous times to me how nice you both are and that your hospitality was second to none! I am already looking forward to coming back next year, maybe June fishing and August hunting again. The berries were well appreciated by ALL, thanks Shirley for making this possible. Again thank you both very much and if you get to Minnesota, give me a call.
