Frog Rapids Camp is situated on the English River system with easy access to excellent walleye, northern pike, lake trout, smallmouth bass and muskellunge fishing.
From our docks you can navigate in many different directions: east through the Sturgeon River and Botsford Lake; south through the Abram Chutes into Minnitaki Lake; Going north, you can travel on Lac Seul. With over 403,000 acres in all, plus hundreds of smaller lakes, there is no limit to the fishing potential. It is a vast area filled with wildlife and beautiful scenery. In addition to the excellent fishing our area is filled with beautiful sand beaches for the family to enjoy.
Frog Rapids Camp Lodge and Outpost
Frog Rapids Camp has 16 fully equipped cottages ranging in size from 2 – 5 double beds. All are equipped with full bathrooms with showers including hot and cold running water. In the kitchen you will find a four-burner propane stove with oven and a full size fridge. For cool nights the cabins are heated by either a propane or oil furnace. Blankets, linens, towels, dishes and cooking utensils are all included. To enjoy the cool evenings without the annoyance of mosquitoes every cottage is equipped with a screened in porch.
Frog Rapids’ only remote outpost cabin is located approximately 30 miles east of the main camp at the east end of Marchington Lake. The cabin is rustic but is dry and warm and will sleep 6 adults.
For your convenience we carry full stock groceries, fishing licences, fishing tackle, minnows and many souvenirs – all of which may be purchased in the Lodge (office). The Lodge is also equipped with a fireplace, television, pay phone and wireless internet access. The Lodge is open and staffed from 7:00am to 10:00pm (9:00pm starting in September) every day of the week so if you have any questions our friendly staff members will be happy to answer them for you.
